Ode to Black Mountain for Lever Harp

I wrote this piece for the Harp Gathering which was to take place September 27th, 2024 in Black Mountain, NC. Hurricane Helene swept through the state causing massive flooding and destruction. What started as a communal gathering quickly became an evacuation. When I got home, I changed the song to reflect the devastating situation in North Carolina. The people and communities are in my heart. I am extremely grateful to the first responders who made heroic rescues. All proceeds from the sale of this song will be donated to relief organizations in Black Mountain.
